ARCHIBUS Smart Client is a desktop application for the ARCHIBUS platform that streamlines data stewardship across facilities, real estate, space, maintenance, and asset management. It offers an Excel-like, high‑performance interface for viewing, editing, and validating enterprise building data while enforcing the central ARCHIBUS business rules and role-based security.

Key capabilities:

• Fast, spreadsheet-style grids with robust filtering, ad hoc queries, and bulk updates
• Data validation and auditing to improve data quality and governance
• Import/export to accelerate large-scale edits and reconciliation
• Optional CAD/BIM extensions for AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit, enabling bi-directional synchronization between floor plans/BIM models and ARCHIBUS records (rooms, assets, equipment, occupancy)
• Support for common IWMS workflows, including space and occupancy planning, move management, asset and inventory tracking, lease and real estate data management, and building operations/maintenance reporting
